Legal action.

£25,000 of my personal items, furniture, belongings etc. was stolen by this company. I am about to take this case to Trading Standards, Watchdog, the Metropolitan Police and will take action in court.
A van marked as 'Hunt's Removals' turned up hours late. The three men were dressed in filthy, casual clothing and were unprofessional in both presentation and attitude.
They loaded the van (which was too small for my goods, despite being given every assurance that they would bring an appropriate sized lorry). They said that they would return with the van to pick up the remaining items the next day.
They never returned. They failed to answer calls. My belongings were to be stored in Croydon, South London. I have a list of items that were taken by them and have valued them at in excess of £25,000.
I should be eager to speak to anyone on this forum who has had similar complaints, so that corporate action may be taken against Rudi Hind and his associates.

Probably worst removal company in the world.

An unmitigsted disaster.  I got this company via one of those websites where you put your details and they ditribute it to removal companies. They turned up 8 hours latehaving been sent on another job first.  By the time they turned up so had the new owners.  All Hell broke loose. They left many of my goods behind including a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and cheat freezer and a bed.  Als smaller items including wine rack, paintings, at least £500 of food, calour gas bottles, hose pipe, pot plants and loads of mixing bowls, clealing items and fittings.  Some of what they did bring in the way of china and glass got broken.  Furniture was scratched, bed taken apart and bolts went missing, a headboard was broken. They did not turn up until 7.30PM the following day and added a further £600 on the bill for doing so.  They refused to unload until such time as I paid the balance including the additional £600. The men themselves doing the move (The lifters and shifters) were decent enough people.  But they werehaving problems themselves.  I finished up helping them because of the time.  They left at 2.30am.   Do yourself a favour and never use this form.  Check the address out in case they change their name.  Also do some checking on the Internet to find out about any removal company you use.  I wish I had. Anyone wants more info, please ask me. Phot's show a bed still in pieces and a large box where many of my clothes had been screwed up and just thrown in.  I actually moved from Maidenhead, but that was not on drop down menu so I put Reading as nearest big town.

Very efficient and great service.

I would recommend Stallion Movers to anyone planning a move. They understood my requirements and delivered this on the moving day as I expected. The removal service was great, the three I had assigned to my move were very friendly hard working and polite. I had no issues whatsoever. In particular David and Andy were exceptional. I would say the experience as a whole exceeded my expectations and I would only use Stallion if I moved again. .

Long-distance move from Reading, Berkshire to Birmingham, West Midlands

Worst removal ever, stay away!

I believe Stallions have gone under now, I cannot find their website and the phone line is cut off. They pressered me into taking their quote, making unbelieable promises that was never kept.  So many things went wrong, I can't write it all in fear I will get upset and angry all over again. But the most unbelievable thing was that a very expensive Bugara Rug went missing, after we saw it loaded on the truck.  It never arrived..the truck left an hour before us and arrived at the drop off property an hour after us..hhhmmm does not make sense, but the rug was missing. When I tried to claim, I was told that the insurance does not cover missing goods.  What the hell?  I asumed he was pulling my leg. After way too many phone calls and messages to the owner and manager of the the company I decided to let it go. Still very upset, for that rug travelled around the world with us and was a wedding present to ourselves.  I cannot believe someone can do this and get away with it. Thanks for reading my review, I feel better for venting a bit.

Please avoid at all times.

I was given a quotation and was told how professional they were and offered me the world.kept in contact until I accepted their quotation and paid but then no communication at all, I spent hours trying to phone their offices the day before my move, when I eventually got trough stories started to change. I was told by Nick Brown they would be there a between 8am and 9am but only arrived at 1pm.the truck was to small so they left the rest and said they would return. They never went back to collect the remaining stuff. Lots of damaged stuff, scratches, wet furniture no trollies supplied no mattress covers or sofa covers no floor scratch protectors no carpet protectors, staff was not issued protective wear so their hands were cut carrying fridges etc. No rain protective covers in case it rains. I also had to buy two trollies for them to offload my stuff at the new place After phoning their offices and mobile numbers all morning I eventually spoke to Rudi and was told unless I agree to pay an additional cost and when it suits them will they do the remainder of the move. This happened on Saturday 27th July and is now Wednesday 31st July. I am still waiting for Nick Brown to call me back to discuss moving the remainder furniture, but to no avail have they contacted me at all Even after numerous emails because they do not answer the phones at office. Beware! Please do not deal with stallion-movers. I took photos of everything, so if anyone wants to see them or have chat regarding my nightmare experience please feel free to contact me, Adriaan Coetzee.

Very very poor service.

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE.Once they got the advance money they never answer back. They offered me a 7.5 tonne van but on the day of move it was a small van and they took only less than half of the item.As I had to move my stuff I asked my friend to bring his van to clear the items. The person who came to value my house or the other person in the office do not take my calls.I used my friends phone to call them. But they were not at all helpful. The removal people disappeared with my items and start calling me that if I don't get my keys before 13.00pm they will take my items  and put it in a storegage(which is totally against the contract).I got the keys at 14.00 pm and they wont unload unless I pay the remaing money for which no receipt. They are acting like militannt people and no customer service skills.I callled the office using other phone the told them I am going to make a compalint,he finally asked the guys to make a second trip.I am going to report about this company to the Trading standards agency, becuase they should not be doing this.Home move is a stressfull one and the grief they given me is UNBELIEVABLE.Never believe the man who come and take survey of the house. Its a conman.

Avoid this company.

We booked Stallion to move our furniture, store it for us for 6 weeks and deliver to our new house. I can safely say it was the most stressful six weeks of our lives. The company is owned by two inept jokers - Rudi Hinds and Alam Irfan. Rudi came to give us an estimate. He has all the flannel, promises the earth and delivers nothing. On the day of removal lorry was two hours late. We made many phone calls to the office only to be told a pack of lies. At 10.15 two tatty hired vans turned up. The vans had no restraints, no blankets to wrap up our precious belongings, no carpet protectors and no hanging rails for our clothes which were to go into storage. Three removal men, only one spoke English. They had no idea how to stack our belongings in the van. Following the poor experience we wanted to view our items in storage to reassure ourselves. Website states that storage charges can be paid daily, weekly or monthly but Alam Irfan started phoning my husband and demanding 8 weeks storage charges. They held our furniture to ransom and refused to divulge where they were being stored. It took 2 weeks and an email from a solicitor to get the storage address. We viewed our items which were very poorly stored. On delivery to our new address they turned up 5 hours late, using yet another hired van. EVERY PIECE OF OUR DINING AND OCCASIONAL FURNITURE WAS SCRATCHED. One leg broken off our expensive Tempur bed, a dent in the door of our fridge freezer, a chunk missing out of a chest of drawers, washing machine scratched and dented in the side. and the glass centre of coffee table missing. When I phoned Alam and said we would not be paying the full balance of £425 he phoned his men and told them to stop unloading furniture and return to storage depot. I had to threaten them with the police to get them to unload the rest of furniture (and bribe them with a large tip). So, here we are with more than £1000 of damage. I did think about taking them to small claims court but they currently have two unpaid CCJs against them. Do not use this company. The directors have no understanding of the law of contract, they make up charges as they go along. It is obvious that the company has cashflow problems. Try looking them up on Companies House, as I have, it makes interesting reading! This is a genuine review. You will note that after a bad review an outstanding review appears - do not trust the review, they are written by the so called directors of the company. In my opinion Mr Hinds and Mr Irfan could not direct their way out of a paper bag. Use them at your peril. I only wish that I had read the review before I booked them, I would not have touched them with a bargepole.

Avoid This Company at All Costs.

This was most definately the worst experience I have ever had moving home!!  Rudi came round to my flat to give me a quote. Everything that came out of him mouth about how professional the company was, was complete lies.  They were meant to arrive Saturday morning at 9am but nevery did. I tried calling the office but conveniently they are shut on Saturdays with no emergency number to call. 4 hours later I eventually got a call to say they had a problem getting a van (actually I was told some bazaar story that the company they went to hire a van from had closed down!!), then shortly after the call I got a text message saying they had secured a van elsewhere and be with me shortly. I then got a call to say that the van was too small and they would need to do 3-4 trip, would I mind if they moved my items on Sunday at 9am. Upon him promising to be there on Sunday morning I agreed.  He even gave me him mobile number and said I could call him anytime. Sunday morning 9am can and went. I eventually got a call froma chap who said he was waiting for one of the other guys and would be with me asap.  When they finally arrived at lunch time they arrived with a huge van which was completely empty. They had no protection blankets, straps, bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes.. all of which I was promised. The driver was very apologetic as he said he had not be told anything about the requirements of the move. He was very helpful and did what he could. He was reluctant to move any items but did transport what he could that didn't need protection.  He promised to come back on Monday to complete the move but on Monday morning office did not allow him to return. After numerous phone calls all day long and being promised someone is on their way, they evenually arrived at 17:15. Again the truck was not equipped sufficiently and the also refused to dismantel the lounge suite as originally promised.  The truck was evenually packed by 19:45 and once at the new place they dumped everything in the lounge and refused to take any items upstairs. This was the worst experience I have encountered with moving and would recommend that anyone thinking about using STALLION steer clear!!

Company has gone bust!

The company did a fair job in moving out. The items went into storage OK. The return from storage was a nightmare. They were late, they did not answer their phone and only 2 men arrived where we had ordered 5. They charged us and took the money before they delivered They were unprofessional in their delivery and approach The company has appied to be liquidated and should not be use again Current Appointments Report for: STALLION HAWKS LOGISTICS LIMITED 07995719     Created: 27/08/2013 16:09:12   Companies House is a registry of corporate information. Horrible Service.

Avoid this company! They are not professional, and behave like gangsters. Most of my stuff was damaged. Things were missing. There is no claim department. They didn't wrap anything. Do not use this company. I don't think they hold proper office hours. Real con artists. The movers are not professional, the owners don't care, they don't care about your stuff. They just want to charge you for every little thing after they have picked up your stuff and will hold your stuff hostage unless you pay inflated fees that they never mentioned before. They should be shut down.
